What we do
Heywood & District Standing Tall has been operating since 2013. For the past 10 years, Standing Tall has been recruiting, screening, and training community volunteers to become effective mentors to our students from Years 7 – 12 at the Heywood and District Secondary College.

We believe that the benefits of mentoring come from the development of a trusting relationship and all practices of the program are designed to allow this to take place. We seek to deliver a program where all participants are valued.
